Ok, he transfered from a community college to UCLA. When he arrived, he was nervous. He finished his first semester, and I told him how it was, and he said that his community college courses were more tougher than the UCLA courses.
I started to laugh because I thought he was joking, but he wasnt joking!!!
Is he crazy??
Is my friend carzy for saying this about his C.C. and UC?
It is individual opinion.
Reply:Community colleges are training people for the real world. Traditional universities do a lot more "fluffy" stuff. It's completely possible.

I have a 13 year girl friend i got her a necklace she says she doesnt want jewlery for c-mas wat should i get?
My girlfriend is great, she is 13 and i possibly love her, i got her a diamond necklace for our 1 month, she doesnt want jewlery for c-mas, what should i get her, i only have $100 to spend and i want her to know that i love her
I have a 13 year girl friend i got her a necklace she says she doesnt want jewlery for c-mas wat should i get?
1. If it is a real diamond, she will love it no matter what.
2. If she really loves you she won't care.
3. If you know she would care that you didn't listen to her, I would buy her a coach purse, I am almost thirteen and I would love getting either of those for Christmas! Hope I helped. :)

im 17 shes 16. we went to a party. She got drunk even after i told her not to drink (i dont drink). she did anyway....then she tried pot. she went home and got caught. they found a pipe in her purse along w/ one lonesome beer which she had left. her parents sorta beat her(this is actually the only thing im enraged and utterly irked by). ok so she got drunk at 16, most people have. so she tried pot, again, most people have even if it isn't the wisest thing. her mom took her cellphone and started talking to me. i didnt know it was her i thought it was my friend the whole time. this is nottttt good, that woman has 2 masters in psychology!!! she just knows things by instinct. i just dont know what to do....i hate the fact that my best friend got beat and i feel like somehow its my fault. well in her parents eyes it is my fault because she said she was going to be with me for the night :(....i care about her so much and would never steer her in the wrong direction....i dont want to lose my best friend =[....what do i do??? im so depressed right now, i dont know where else to ask and vent...

Step up and do the honorable thing. Talk to her parents, explain what happened. I would like to think they would appreciate your being forthright and honest. At least your best friend will see that you aren't hanging her out to dry. I have 4 teenagers and we have a very close relationship. My wife and I know things about their friends that their parents don't. Honesty is ALWAYS the best course of action.
Good luck
Reply:I completely understand how u feel when yo friend is in trouble and somehow u blame yourself even when u know that u tried to prevent them from going down hill. Jus know first of all that its not your fault because you told her not to do it. People have their on minds u can't control everything. U should try talking to her parents and tell them what really happened. They should be grateful that u got her back safely cuz anything could have happened to her if u know what I mean. If she's a real friend she will be right by your side taking up for her on actions.
Reply:you didn't hog tie your friend, force her to drink or smoke pot. you are FRIENDS yes, but separate individuals making individual choices. your friend chose to get all messed up. it was NOT your fault.
well, i hope her parents didn't beat her 1/2 to death... maybe she needed it? I'm assuming you mean a "spanking"? You did not mention her other behaviors... i'm not there so i can't comment on this very well.
this, too, shall pass. give it time.

I really hate this guy b/c of wat he did 2 my friend last year. wat should i do bout him?
Ignore him, forget him, treat him as if he is non-existent. You shouldn't be brewing hatred in you, it's not good for your mental health. Letting go is one of life's best lessons.
I really hate this guy b/c of wat he did 2 my friend last year. wat should i do bout him?
Tell him that it made you mad at what he did to your friend and that you hated him for a while. But that you have forgiven him for what he did and you are no longer mad at him.
Reply:start a nasty rumor.
Reply:last year? get over it already
Reply:Why do you think that you have to anything about him? Just ignore him.

Okay, so i like my best friend. &&he doesn't know. i think that i may be being a hypocrate... :c?
we are always hanging out, watching movies at my house, skateboarding, %26amp;%26amp; just being together
over the summer he had asked me out, i said no because i knew we could be so much closer.
%26amp;%26amp; now that we are, i seriously like him
people at school are always telling us how we should be together and what such a cute couple we make
especially our friends
now i think that i am being a hypocrate...
am i?
but i don't know if he still likes me...
because when ever he watches movies with me and some of our friends i always end up leaning on him wiht his arms around me
or me messing with his hands
and most times we end up talking most of the way through the movie
so...
how do i tell him i like him?
am i being a hypocrate?
%26amp;%26amp; do you think he likes me or do you think he is just being a friend?

ok, its alright that you wanted to be better friends before going out.. ask him to the movies or something, but make sure he knows you mean as more than friends.. you're not being a hypocrite and im sure he still likes you [it sounds like it]... just ask him on a date %26amp;%26amp; good luck!
Reply:Girl I think u have the setting for a perfect romance. All great love stories start with friendship.
Tell him how u feel the worse that happen is he will tell u he doesnt feel that way for u, But I think he does.
Good Luck.
Reply:you just need to tell him. i went through the same exact thing last year, except i didn't tell him soon enough and i ended up getting hurt. so you need to just tell him how you feel before it's too late. chances are he still likes you, too.

Anyone know of nice meaningful presents u could give a friend who means alot but wont c for a long time again
There's loads but I think a beautiful watch would be nice, because they'll use it everyday and when they look at it , it will remind them of you!

well, in this case giving something which is very costly will make no sense. if the person is a very good frnd of urs, then u can give something that will really touch ur frend's heart..like a rose, coz the feeling which comes on being presented a rose is just brillient.its a really beautiful feeling....so instead of wasting ur wealt on finding something very expensive, just try out a rose...n say "this is to our frndship", n a happy mood...or something ,like that.

Reply:Maybe get a photo of the 2 of you made to a mug or mouse mat so it is a keepsake that'll remind her/him of you
Reply:When my mate was going travelling for a year i bought her a small silver locket, she loved it and she wore it the whole year that she was away.
Reply:find out what all the number 1s were on her birthday. and make her a cd.
Reply:How about a really lovely letter telling them how much their friendship means to you and that you will always be their for them no matter what or when, if there feeling a bit lonely or missing you then the letter will be something they can read over and over to know they have that one person in their heart who is always there.
Reply:something special between you guys, or something hand made? My friend made me a pillowcase with my name on it, and I still have it. Or make a scrapbook, those are always nice
Reply:One of those friendship set of necklaces.

Reply:Maybe, that present that i could give to my friend is my time, because since i reach my second level in college i couldn't send e-mail to them and even remember thier birthdays...so i guess i would give my time so that we could have a very memorable time together...i would recall some of our experiences together...
Reply:how about a photo of u both together in a nice frame u could have one each so u will always be able to see each other
Reply:A photo album with pics of good times you've had together? A CD you've burned to remind them of the music you both love? Make it something personal, not something you've bought - it will mean so much more.

My friend and I have been best mates for 14 yrs. I was sat one day thinking about our friendship and began to write memories I shared with her down on paper. When I finished, I folded and put each memory in to a sealed jar. When I next saw my best friend, i gave her the jar and said thanks for the memories.
Next time I saw her I got a huge hug and she thanked me, looking back on the good times we had made her cry but only at the fondness of the memories. Now she tells me she keeps the jar for when she feels sad or lonley and just takes them out and reads them.
inexpensive and priceless at the same time!

Reply:give them a personal possession that has sentimental value to you. something they know you love, they'll know you'll be thinking about them in their absence.
Reply:How about a photo album full of photos charting your friendship, showing special moments and fun times. Under the photo's put funny captions or a memory of that time. Put in a letter to explain how much their friendship has meant to youat the front.
By doing this if they get homesick they have something they can look through and feel close to those they miss, and who mean a lot to them.
