Does he like me as more than a friend? or am i reading too much into it b/c i like him?

He tells me everything I say/do is cute, constantly asks about me if I am not around, calls me conservative, hugs me and touches my shoulder A LOT! He is a mutual friend. When we went dancing, he danced with all these other girls and touched them, and when we danced once he didn't touch me the same way. But, when i danced with another guy, he asked my friend who the guy was I was with. Why does he care?

From my experience, (as i am a guy) women tend to think that we are interested in them when we just consider them good friends. Guys are flirtatious and it is just a thing that many women misunderstand. I suggest you ask him to go out with you. If he is so comfortable with you then he might be interested in you. The worst he could say is no. Go on! Sex it up for him a little bit lol.
