My straight guy friend says he "used to be gay"? He says he thought it b/c he thought gay was cool/absent dad?

I met my best friend (both guys) while he was giving me a lap dance at the bar. He is very attractive and I have grown to love him. He is aware, and it doesnt bother him. I am usually shy, but decided to ask him to have a drink. He obliged, and we now are attached at the hip. He swears he is straight now and loves women. But he told me I would be the first guy he would go for. I initially thought he was gay. He stripped in one gay bar and served shots in his underwear at another gay bar. Everything about him is gay. VERY gay...and he admits it. He gets upset when people call him gay. He would make out with guys club patrons, but later said he's straight.When he's drunk, he wants to hook up with guys. He says he used to be gay.Even had sex with guys. He claims he just didn't like it. This was after he came out to his entire family and circle of friends as gay. Often when we hang out or are messed up, he flashes me, cuddles with me, and tells me he loves me. I know he's not str8. Advice?

I'm sure you are aware of his sexuality. You know he's gay, bisexual, whatever.....definately not straight.


He says he's straight because he is afraid of society now days. He feels safer calling himself straight. You know he's not and that should be enough for you. As long as he's happy and you are happy then its all good. You have good times with him so what i see is no problem at all.

Reply:Maybe you should confront him about it. Just be as sensitive as possible. Explain that you're not calling him straight or gay, but you have feelings for him and you'd like to know if he's leading you on or not. Sounds to me that he could maybe be bisexual, since he must be enjoying what he's doing with men or he wouldn't be doing it. But again, don't throw any labels at him because it might upset him. He might just be a touchy feely person with you because he knows that you'll accept the cuddles and affection. I don't know what else to say, it sounds like he sends signals all over the place.

I speak from personal experience when I tell you that any kind of romantic attachment to a "confused" straight guy will not end happily ever after. There's enough extra baggage to deal with in just plain ol' gay relationships. Add the "maybe I am/maybe I'm not" factor, and that's a recipe for heartbreak and/or disaster. You know the old saying "Ditch the ***** and make the switch?" Well, dump the chump and find a hunk!

So, confronting him about this would actually be the first step.

Serving shots in your underwear at a gay bar? Gay.


Making out with other men in gay clubs? Gay.


Drunk sex with men? Gay.


Sex with men? Gay.





And even if he SAYS he didn't like it, you know damned sure that when his cock was exploding, he liked it.
