How do I tell a friend she needs to bathe b/c she smells horrible?

A friend and I went to spent a weekend at my friends house, it was ok but what made it so bad was that my friend didn't bathe the entire weekend and wore the same clothes all weekend as well, when she took off her shoes at night it was like all of the worlds roadkill jumped out of the shoes. Is there anyway to tell her to do something about it without hurting her feeling?

maybe you could buy her a bath set or something like that. or towels, you could also maybe hint to her...if you guys are close, she might not be so offended just maybe a little embarassed. good luck, hope this helps.
Reply:I have the same problem with my step-sister. she don't bathe unless i am over my dads house and then one day I asked her if she could smell her own funk and she said no. Then she took and bath and put on different clothes

Reply:Make a joke. When she takes off her shoes say, "WHOA! The rest of us are trying to breathe in here!" with a smile on your face. Hopefully she will get it. Otherwise, it is a good lesson learned never to travel with her again.
Reply:Why dont u try telling her that her perfume smells nasty.....N that she better change it.....She might get a hint of wat u mean.....
Reply:you should just get her some nice, perfume that she likes and she will either get the message... or she will put it on and she wont smell bad anymore
Reply:give her a new deoderant and say something like " you need this one! i love it! its so strong" and i think she'll get the point..
