hard to answer this question without know a few more details of what kind of email account he uses. But generally, all you have to do is go to the hosting site of his email and log in under his name and password. An example would be a yahoo email. simply make sure you are not logged in under your name - go to yahoo.com and log in under his name.
Reply:If the e-mail is webbased such as yahoo mail then there shouldn't be a problem, However if it's a POP3 account he will need to go to his ISP and get the correct addresses to put on your computer to view his mail
