My friend likes this guy but she doesnt know what what should she do should she tell him b/c he mght like hr?
Instead of telling him, it's better if she tries flirting so he'll sense that she likes him and give him a chance to make the first move. Most guys like it that way. If flirting doesn't work because he's shy then she can always let him know later in a casual way.

she should just (in a friendly manner) ask him if he would like to hang out some time. just by chatting they can see if the have common interests. lets say they have a common movie interest and there's one out in theaters that would be great to watch.
she can just say "yea i really want to see that movie too, we should go check it out if your not busy"
is easy and not to wierd
